A two-day celebration of roots music taking place on the 1st & 2nd of May at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg. This first-year festival brings together 14 artists from Cape Town’s Far South, with a special focus on Kommetjie-based musicians including Alec Griffith, Mel Malisch, Robin Auld and Derek Craig, alongside a mix of established names and exciting new talent.
Presented by Shoreline Songs in collaboration with The Cottage Club, the festival showcases a rich blend of folk, blues, acoustic rock, and singer-songwriter traditions, with each artist also performing an iconic South African song in tribute to the country’s musical heritage.
